A TrendLife Kaleida family group has two roles: Family Owner and Family Member.
Each role has different permissions for managing the family. This article explains what each role can and cannot do.
Family Owner Permissions
The Family Owner is the person who created the family group. The Family Owner:
- Can invite additional family members (ask Kaleida directly, for example: “I want to invite a family member…”).
- Can revoke a family member's invitation before it's accepted.
- Can remove a family member from the family (ask Kaleida directly, for example: “Remove [name] from my family.”).
- Cannot remove themselves from the family.
- Cannot delete the family.
Family Member Permissions
A Family Member is anyone the Family Owner has invited and who has joined the family. A Family Member:
- Can leave the family at any time from Settings > Family > then tap Leave Family. A confirmation warning appears before the action is finalized.
- Cannot invite other family members.
- Cannot remove other family members.
- Cannot accept an invitation to a second family while they have a valid pending invitation or active membership elsewhere.
